Our Management Team

Denis Lahart

Denis has over 25 years postgraduate experience in the construction sector across Ireland, the UK and Middle East and has worked on projects up to the value of €100m. Since graduating in 1995, Denis progressed his career from Site Engineer to Regional Director with responsibility for the Leinster region, overseeing the safe delivery of up to €40m worth of projects annually. Denis has strong experience across numerous sectors for both private and public Clients.

Adrian McAndrew

After an initial period working with a number of Main Contractors, Adrian established a Civil Engineering business in 2000. He has successfully grown this business year-on-year carrying out complex civil engineering and site development projects nationwide in numerous sectors including industrial, educational, commercial and residential.

Both Denis and Adrian have successfully delivered numerous projects together throughout the past twenty years including the Phoenix Restaurant in NUI Maynooth, Glenashling Nursing Home Celbridge, and the Thoroughbred Remedies Ireland Centre at the Curragh.

At LMA Contruction, we seek to partner with our Clients with the joint goal of avoiding disruption to the programme while building a strong rapport of trust to ensure the customer journey is seamless and positive. It is our intention to work with each of our Clients on a repeat basis. This can only be achieved through delivering every time, using the right resources supported by the right company processes.

About Us

LMA Construction was incorporated to provide high quality construction services to both public and private Clients across the Irish market. Led by Denis Lahart and Adrian McAndrew, each with over 25 years construction experience, LMA’s primary mission is to become the Contractor of choice for key repeat Clients.

Our company ethos has been developed to provide each of our Clients with a partnership approach. No project can be entirely successful without the complete dedication of all parties. With this in mind, we work hard to eliminate all barriers to success by delivering a transparent, honest and open approach. We appreciate building long-term partnerships with clients and consultancies, enjoying a strong catalogue of repeat business, born out of delivering high quality, on time.

Our team has managed projects ranging in value up to €20m across a range of sectors including commercial, educational, healthcare, residential, pharmaceutical, infrastructure and industrial. Our extensive and wide range of experience combines the best in modern building techniques with the best in traditional craftsmanship.

As Managing Partner, Denis is a strong advocate of technology to enhance our Client offering including Programming, Procurement, Project Reporting, and delivery. Denis is experienced in the use of PROCORE, BIM 360, the Microsoft Suite, various planning software and Lean Construction methodologies.

Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality

Health and Safety is our top priority and has been addressed through Denis’s PSCS certification and MSIC qualifications, and the use of external Consultants. A full suite of Health and Safety documentation, including Safety Statement & Policy and required Risk Assessments and Method Statements, is prepared in advance of the commencement of all projects with all sites independently audited on a weekly basis.

A project specific quality plan is prepared in advance of each project taking into account all aspects of the works requirements, the Clients needs and our BC(A)R obligations. A site-specific environmental plan is prepared for each project, ensuring to consider all local authority requirements and aspects of the works requirements.

Only sub-contractors with a proven track record in achieving programme while ensuring compliance with all safety and quality requirements as outlined in the contract documents are engaged in any project.
